About
Roleo is a brand of manually operated self-massage tools made by Massage U, Inc., a family-owned business. Its best-known product, the Roleo Arm & Hand Massager, was created in 2006 by a massage therapist who wanted a practical way to massage his own hands, wrists and forearms. Roleo also makes the Roleo Leg Massager.
Roleo products need no batteries or charging. The user controls the pressure, and the tools are meant for everyday self-massage at home, at work, at the gym or on the go, as part of general wellness and a healthy lifestyle.

Origin
Paul Kleiman, a massage therapist, attorney and writer, created the original Roleo in in Los Angeles to help with his own hand, wrist and forearm discomfort after thousands of hours of massage work at a busy day spa. The idea came from the wringer of an old-fashioned clothes washer: the arm passes between two rollers while the user sets the pressure.
Paul Kleiman is still President and CEO of Massage U, Inc. Kiki Ryan, R.N., became a co-owner and officer in and is COO and VP of Marketing.
What Roleo offers
| Product | How it is used | Body areas |
|---|---|---|
| Roleo Arm & Hand Massager (SKU S001A) | Sits on a flat surface; the arm moves between two opposing rollers, with a knob on top to set the pressure | Hands, wrists and forearms, up to the elbow |

Roleo Arm & Hand Massager
Place it on a desk or table at about elbow height, or on the lap. It can be used with or without the suction cups, which hold it in place on smooth surfaces so the other hand is free. Start at the lightest pressure, slip the fingertips between the rollers and push the forearm in until the crook of the elbow nearly touches the rollers, then use a slow push and pull motion. The user can pause on a tight spot, rotate the wrist, or turn the palm up toward the upper roller. It is not designed for use above the elbow.
Roleo Leg Massager
Roll it up and down the leg or arm. It is used to loosen muscles before exercise and to relax them afterwards. It is lightweight and portable.
